Godox, a prominent Chinese manufacturer known for its LED lights, camera flashes, monitors, accessories, and audio equipment, has unveiled the KNOWLED M300R. This new RGBWW LED fixture is specifically designed for film and broadcast production, expanding the company's KNOWLED series as a versatile, mid-range full-color lighting solution.

The M300R delivers impressive performance, boasting 101,000 lux at 1 meter when paired with its included reflector, achieving a 30° beam angle. Its extensive CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) range spans from 1,800K to 10,000K, offering wide flexibility for various lighting scenarios. Users also benefit from HSI (Hue, Saturation, Intensity) color control across the entire spectrum.

For precise color adjustments, individual RGB channel measurements at 1 meter (without modifiers) are as follows:

  • Red: 3,450 lux

  • Green: 7,270 lux

  • Blue: 2,070 lux

The M300R ensures high color accuracy with CRI (Color Rendering Index) and TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) ratings of 95+. It also includes a ±100% green/magenta shift adjustment and can dim down to an incredibly low 0.1%. The fixture supports multiple color modes, including CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, X-Y, and various FX (effects) modes.

Weighing 3.6kg (without the yoke), the M300R's light head is built for demanding production environments, featuring an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Powering the unit is flexible, with options for both AC mains and V-mount battery operation.

Control of the M300R is highly versatile, offering multiple methods to suit different workflows:

  • Onboard controls

  • CRMX wireless

  • Wired DMX

  • Bluetooth via the KNOWLED app

  • Ethernet

The fixture is equipped with a standard Bowens mount, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of existing light modifiers.
