  • The Trial of the Chicago 7: Aaron Sorkin's historical legal drama recounts the infamous trial of seven defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy and inciting riots stemming from the counterculture protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, featuring a large ensemble cast including Sacha Baron Cohen and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

The Best Actor category showcases a powerful lineup of performances:
